I have been reflecting on past events across this once great nation of ours.
Drug cartels running out of control while our police and government sits on their thumbs.
Police beating people , shooting people , choking people , disfiguring people and yet they pay no penalty.
all of the investigations turn out something like" I've investigated myself and determined that i did nothing wrong." I know its not exactly like that but when the internal affairs investigates their own men then its the same comparison. Cops being intoxicated on duty and they merely get a suspension until the attention goes away.
Our forefathers would be stomping a mud hole in all of these forces . The constitution protects against cruel and unusual punishment, unwarranted searches and seizure, and due process of law. If these rights are to be warranted , what gives a fat man with a badge and a gun the right to be his own judge jury and executioner? It seems as though we are evolving into Demolition Man, They Live, and Dredd all in one flick.
How much more can we take or will we take?
It seems like the government is attempting to take our 1st amendment rights so we cant speak out to save all of our other rights....NEWS FLASH...I don't need a piece of parchment to say i can voice my opinion, i dont need permission to protect myself. If anyone honestly thinks they need permission to protect themselves then they arent part of the problem they are the problem. Lets stand solid and not be afraid. They only have as much power as we allow them to have....
